Strengthening its focus and growth in e-mobility: Management change at SEG Automotive

SEG Automotive, one of the world's leading manufacturer of starter motors, generators and components of electric powertrain, is placing a stronger focus on the new demands of e-mobility.

Effective October 7th, 2019, Dr. Peter Sokol, formerly the COO, has been promoted to lead the company as CEO. He takes over this responsibility from Dr. Ulrich Kirschner, who has left the company.

Dr. Sokol brings a long international experience in the automotive industry with a passion and focus on the advancement of e-mobility. At SEG Automotive, Dr. Sokol was previously responsible for worldwide Research and Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Operations.
